Green Shield Course

Integrity in climate communications starts with us.

Interrelated problems need collaborative solutions, which is why the IAE Climate Consortium was formed. An interdisciplinary panel of exemplary individuals from civil society, government, and the advertising industry now work together on integrity in climate communications.

The IAE Green Shield is a social science-guided course to improving the integrity of environmental communications.

The course is free to take, and can be completed in as little as 1 hour. Upon completion, you will receive a verified credential badge that may be shared on LinkedIn and downloaded for resumes.

What visionaries are saying:

“I strongly encourage students in my ADV330 Advertising Management Strategy classes, both online and in-person, to take advantage of the IAE certification program because ethical decision-making deserves more focused attention in advertising education. While advertising ethics are included in the curriculum, I believe students benefit greatly from a dedicated program that more thoroughly addresses the wide range of ethical issues in advertising and strategic communication. The certification allows students to further explore real-world ethical challenges and professional responsibilities in the industry while providing additional professional training beyond the classroom. It also offers students a meaningful opportunity to strengthen their professional profiles through a recognized certification and digital credential.” — Dr. Mengyan Ma, Assistant Professor, Department of Advertising and Public Relations, Michigan State University
